The room was cozy and comfortable, perfect for a solo traveler after a long day. I appreciated the spacious deluxe double room, complete with a shower that made unwinding easy.
Finding the place was a bit of a hassle since there was no sign out front indicating its name, but having the address on hand helped. The lack of a small desk and chair in the room made working a bit tricky, and while I managed to adapt, it would have been a nice addition. I noticed the window had lovely blinds, but if you’re sensitive to light or visiting in the summer, you might want to bring an eye mask along.

The location is fantastic, with nice dining options just a short walk away, making it easy to unwind after meetings. The gardens nearby provide a relaxing atmosphere, and I particularly enjoyed the proximity to the priory tennis courts for a quick recreational break.
Navigating to the hotel was a bit tricky due to the lack of signage outside.

Recommend it for solo travelers
The moment I arrived, the host was welcoming like an old friend. I swear the bed was so comfortable I could’ve stayed forever, and I gotta mention, the breakfast was gourmet every single day. I had fresh, delicious meals that I've honestly never had at a hotel before.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but considering the service, it felt justified.

I had an amazing stay! The fresh fruit and Greek yogurt at breakfast were delightful, and I loved the unique touch of having fresh milk for coffee. My only complaint was that the room could use a full-length mirror.

Our Deluxe Double Room was beautifully decorated and felt like a boutique hotel. The cozy atmosphere made unwinding easy after a long day. I loved the fresh flowers and the great selection of toiletries in the lovely en-suite. Just a short walk to great dining options and very close to Birmingham University. It really wasn’t a bad place to stay, especially with how comfy the bed was!
